Dear Parents,

The theme for this year's book fair is a "Read In."  In keeping with the 60's theme we are asking students to wear 60s clothes on Wednesday, April 27th.

Hey kids--get ready to dig out your tie-dye t-shirts and throw on your peace sign necklaces. In honor of our book fair theme of "Peace, Love, and Books," all staff and students are encouraged to wear their grooviest clothes to school on Wednesday, April 27th. Far out!

Science: Rocks & Minerals

Since the weather was so gorgeous today, we were able to get outside and search for rocks! Be sure to bring your bag back to school tomorrow. You can continue searching at home with your family or include any rocks you have already have at home! We will use our rocks this week as we dig deeper in our Rocks & Minerals Unit!

Spelling Bee

A BIG congratulations to our Spelling Bee Contestants from Room 204!!! Great Work! You both made us PROUD!!!

Making Inferences (Last Week)!

Last week, we worked on making inferences! Students did a great job using what they read in the text or what they see in the illustrations + what they already know ---> to make INFERENCES! We read the "Recess Queen" on the iPads and worked together to make inferences about the characters, setting and plot!
