MLK Day - Healthy Family Challenge at the YMCA 
Monday, January 18th, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Lunch included 
West Cook YMCA, 255 S Marion Street, Oak Park
A brief program about Martin Luther King, Jr. will be followed by a day of fun activities, including swimming, basketball, and a service project -----for youth from pre-school thru high school, and including parents and guardians.

ADULTS! DON’T WORRY, WE HAVE SPECIAL EVENTS FOR YOU, TOO, INCLUDING:

  • Fitness demos
  • Nutrition information from our dietitian
  • Swimming
  • Fitness consultations
  • Q&A/Mythbusters conversation with Personal Trainers
  • Dietitian topic: Diabetes Prevention
Kids and families will learn about Martin Luther King, Jr., learn and perform a song in sign language, and participate in a service project. Families who pre-register can enter a raffle drawing to WIN items such as sports prizes, swim lessons, Summer Camp, and more Y programming!
